MCI Telecommunications Sr. HR Generalist 1987 to 1995

Provided human resources generalist services to several divisions including

network engineering, operations, customer service, finance and local service start-up

subsidiary, MCImetro. Led contract recruiters and other generalists in all aspects of HR

including staffing, employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, etc.

Won “Excellence-in-Service” and other commendation awards. Was promoted to Sr. HR

Generalist after starting in HR Generalist role.

SRA Corporation Personnel Supervisor 1985 to 1987

Handled all aspects of human resources for high technology, government contracting

firm. Ran college recruiting program, evaluated benefits, wrote strategic HR plans, and

developed affirmative action plans.

DC Office of Labor Relations Labor Relations Specialist 1981 to 1983

Member of management team in compensation and contract negotiations with city labor

unions. Chief negotiator for several working conditions contracts. Wrote publications

and training programs for supervisors on labor relations. Managed college interns.
